Our Covid-19 Response
The Covid-19 outbreak has presented The Branch with new challenges to overcome and new opportunities to serve the Antioch community. We are continuing to provide food assistance to all who come to us, while at the same time, striving to be cautious about exposing our staff, volunteers, and guests to the virus. This balancing act has led to some changes in the way we are conducting our food distribution days.
As part of our response, we are increasing the amount of food brought into our Pantry, and increasing the number of families we can serve. This increase in service is dependent on an increase in our volunteer staff. We can’t put out more food with the same number of volunteers, so we are going online with our volunteer registration to make it easier to serve with us. If you are a first-time volunteer, please fill out the Volunteer Registration form by clicking here.
For those who are in need of food assistance, please check this page daily for updates. As the Covid-19 situation continues to evolve, we may change our food distribution procedures to reflect further precautionary measures.
For Saturday, March 28, 2020:
The line to receive food will open by 9:00, with service starting at 9:45.
All guests receiving food will be asked to stay in their cars.
Keep car windows closed and be prepared to show proper ID through the window:
If you have a Branch card, please have it ready to show the registrar.
If you are a new guest, please have a valid proof of residence, such as a TN Driver’s License or utility bill showing your correct address
You will need to answer the following questions through a small opening in your car window. Our registrars will stand 6 ft. from your open window.
