The Power of Volunteers: Our Pillar of Strength at The Branch

At The Branch, we cannot emphasize enough how crucial volunteers are to the success of our programs. Each week, we rely on fifty volunteers to generously contribute their time and efforts to ensure the smooth running of our programs. From the vital tasks of packing and sorting food to engaging in meaningful English Language Learning (ELL) practice conversations with our students, our volunteers play a fundamental role in fulfilling our mission.

Not only do our volunteers make sure that food reaches the tables of older adults and individuals without access to transportation, but they also warmly welcome our clients at the door, providing them with a sense of belonging and dignity during their visit.

Volunteering is a powerful way to give back to your community, and at The Branch, we welcome volunteers of all ages. Children are encouraged to participate, and if they're under 14, we ask that they be accompanied by an adult. We extend our invitation to groups, churches, schools, and individuals!

We open our doors five days a week (we are closed on Thursdays and Sundays) from 10 am to 4 pm, and we love welcoming new volunteers into our family. By signing up today through the "Volunteer" section on our website, you can become part of a larger movement that positively impacts the lives of those in need in our Nashville community.

For larger groups, simply email volunteer@thebranchofnashville.org, and we will gladly arrange a suitable time for your group to volunteer with us.

The Branch thrives on the spirit of volunteerism, and we are grateful to all those who generously give their time and energy. Together, we create a community where everyone can thrive.
