How do you use your voice? Are you a champion for those who don’t have a voice? Have you gotten close enough to the vulnerable, the marginalized, the physically poor to know what is hard and hear what they feel?
Have you heard them cry as they try to figure out a better way forward? Heard their exhaustion, gotten deep enough into their pain to speak on their behalf?
Have you ever spoken to someone who was forced to flee their home country to save their lives? If so, you will hear the profound sense of longing they feel for their homeland and the family they left behind along with the hope and exuberance of a new chance at life.
Have you ever wondered why you were chosen by the Creator to be born here in the land of opportunity while someone else was chosen to be born in a land of war and violence? Have you ever considered using your place here to be an advocate for someone who needs their voice to be heard?
Speak up for those who have no voice.
Proverbs 31:8
In 2025, we will listen and speak. We want to bring our neighbors in closer and hear them. We want to be relational and elevate their voice, while using ours in any place and way that we can. We want to champion the causes that will empower our neighbors to have a better future. We want to speak up for the defenseless. We want to speak Life and Hope into the lives of the weary and Light into places that are dark. God willing, we will do these things and you are welcome to join us.
