Volunteers are a vital part of our organization. We couldn't serve our community without the warm hearts and willing hands of those who want to make a difference in people's lives. A volunteer at The Branch will meet people from all walks of life, gain valuable experience and insight into the Nashville community, and be part of bringing hope to our neighbors in need.

How to Get Involved
Help in client services - greet clients, get clients checked in and distribute food to clients
Sort, stock, and package food for distribution
Help with special projects
Help with monthly inventory

Volunteer FAQs:
Is there a minimum age to sign up for volunteers?
Children ages 7-14 are welcome to volunteer when accompanied by an adult who will be working alongside the child. Children 6 and younger may not volunteer as the warehouse environment of The Branch can pose dangers to young children.

There aren't any opportunities for the date or time I would like to visit.

Are you accepting volunteer groups?
Yes! We welcome groups to volunteer together. If your family, organization, or religious group would like to come together, contact the VolunteerDirector at volunteer@thebranchofnashville.org to plan a date and time.
